This book has been prepared for training purpose at financial institutions and corporations in Indonesia to develop their understanding of what is Digital Transformation and what to do about it. It covers issues relevant to Indonesian context and while providing cases from overseas and reading the trend and how to anticipate the changes.

The book clarifies misunderstanding of what constitutes digitation and digitalization; and about mindset and skillset required in institutional transformation both technologically and culturally. It is required flexible and agile approach, and considered as a new lifestyle based on experience, where different type of services and talents, as well as markets and products, policy and regulation, process and speed operation as well as payment and investment are completely disrupted and therefore a helicopter view and change management strategy is a must in order to survive in a digital age, both for business and government since the customer and constituent have different ideas of what digital economy affect their daily activities.

Since the topic is relative new and implementation still on planning stage or on going, it is difficult to see the end result. It is like work in progress, as technology cannot wait for lawless and indecisiveness. The book, therefore, can be used as guidance both for business owner or practitioners especially executives who have to make investment decision on the type of technology and talents required. It is a must read for CEO, CIO, CISO, CMO, etc.
